Opened in 1932, this bridge is along CA Hwy 1 in Big Sur (about 120 miles south of San Francisco). A vista point nearby allows visitors to stop and take in the view of the bridge and the California coast. It’s worth a look if you’re already nearby in Monterrey or will be making your way through the area, but I wouldn’t recommend making the trek out here only for this.
Taken on a Sunday afternoon in January. This winter is quite unusual – dry and warm (60′s F).
